General	CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP	SOL
	Congratulations to the 2023 Chess Championship finalists Casey den Boer, Pascal Burri and EJ Egduma. A tense final game was won by Casey den Boer yesterday. Well done and thank you to all those contestants who have devoted many lunchtimes over the last few weeks to playing the preliminary matches. Casey will be presented with Te Aroha College's largest trophy at the Term 4 Prizegiving.

	Don't miss out! Sign up at the Library desk to be in the College Connect Four Competition. Entries only open this week. Contest starts in Week 10 after senior exams.
General	Message for Y9 & Y10	RSc
	Greetings Y9 and Y10. Next week Exams begin for seniors in the Hall and Library. You must be very quiet around those areas especially at break times and after school to give our seniors the best chance of success. There is no assembly on Monday. The Library will be closed. Bells will be turned off. Thank you for showing Manaakitanga to our seniors.

	Tomorrow is a out of uniform day in support of Refugees. Please remember to bring a donation of $2. All funds raised will go to International Red Cross.

	Te Aroha College Sports Prizegiving is early next term. If you compete, volunteer or referee to a high level in a sport not connected to Te Aroha College please either go and see Mrs Williams and let her know or email her [email protected] We can't acknowledge your achievements if we don't know about them.
