  Today is part of Amnesty International Freedom challenge, This year’s Freedom Challenge theme is RAISE HER VOICE - the rights of women and girls in Afghanistan, and seeks to challenge the Taliban's brutal gender persecution.
Today at form time, students will be coming around with Amnesty International petitions which will aid the fight for women’s rights in Afghanistan.
Also at morning tea, in the quad there will be Badges and Bracelets for gold coin donations to amnesty. And more of the petition if you didn’t get to sign it.

General Talent Quest BPa
  A friendly reminder to come and register your act with Miss Park if you are keen to participate in the Talent Quest on the 23rd of August. Registrations close on Monday 14th, and you will be assigned an audition spot on either Thursday 17th or Friday 18th at breaks. :)

 
 
Sport 3 point shoot out PAI
  The year 12 P.E class have organised a 3 point shooting competition on Friday 11/08 during break 2 (With prizes to be won). There is a sign up sheet is in Mrs Wades room! See you all there.

 
 
Sport Badminton Camps RWI
  If you are interested in playing in the Te Aroha College girls or boys badminton champs can you please sign up on the Notice board by A1. Entries close Tuesday the 15th August. Games will be played in the gym during breaks.

 
 
Sport Squash RWI
  The TAC Girl's squash champs will be played after school on Tuesday the 15th August at theTe Aroha Squash Club. Please bring suitable clothes and footwear to play in . Racquets will be provided.
